Wexor Rewrite in Progress: see below

Speedy, simple and smart. Finally.

Wexor is built with speed. Wexor uses the same technologies in most modern browsers today - and more.

Wexor has been designed to look clean and simple. We've gotten rid of all the junk and packed all the useful stuff into a simple user interface.

Wexor is smart. Wexor supports everything that you'd expect:

From the simple stuff:

- Bookmark manager

- History manager

- Built-in downloads manager

And the advanced stuff:

- Private browsing (Private Wex)

- Saving passwords (EasyLocker)

- And more coming soon!

I'm excited! When is it coming?

Wexor is currently in the development phase - the early closed alpha will start mid 2015.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Back to square one.

Wexor was designed to be simple AND powerful, but above all, speedy. For a web browser to be speedy, an amazing, powerful web rendering engine is required.

Early builds of Wexor used Internet Explorer's engine - which of course is known from horrific speeds and terrible compatibility. With Windows 10, we expected that the new Edge engine would be available to us. This did not happen, however.

So, now our only choice is to switch to another engine. We will now be using Awesomium, an engine used by many major companies. Switching to a new engine, however, requires an entire rebuild of the application.

This rebuild will take from 1 month to half a year, so sit tight and we'll get this release out to our testers ASAP.

Sincerely,
JL Tech
